Ashfield Seeger Fest 2017

Join us for an exicing evening of singing celebrating the life and work of Pete Seeger! Other performers will include Sarah Pirtle, Jay Mankita, Lui Collins, Michael Nix, Paul Kaplan and many more!

This concert is a benefit for The Carry It On Fund. 

Here’s the spirit we will be bringing. After Pete’s death his daughter Tinya received the Magic Penny Award on his behalf and these are the words Sarah Pirtle said at the ceremony: "Think back on the first time you heard Pete. How did hearing him change you? What was it he told you about the world -- that you could question, that you could connect to something larger? Did you feel that he cared for each of us personally and understood our longing to help contribute to the future of the world?"

A variety of wonderful Pete Seeger CDs will be available for sale along with Pete's autobiography, Where Have All the Flowers Gone: A Singalong Memoir.
