New England Yearly Meeting

We will be leading a singalong concert of the songs of Pete Seeger at the annual sessions of New England Yearly Meeting of Friends (Quakers).

We will be singing together out of a new collection of Pete's songs called If I Had a Hammer ("50 songs to help heal the planet"). Songbooks will be available for all.

Pete Seeger believed that if our world survives it will be in large part because we sing together. We will spend the evening celebrating Pete Seeger's life and work on the occasion of the centennial of his birth. We will rasie our voices together as a way of celebrating our commitment to carry on his work for a just, peaceful and sustainable planet.
