Pete's 100th - Brattleboro

THIS SHOW IS SOLD OUT.

The church will be completely full so we suggest you arrive early. Doors open at 6:15. You can browse the "tabling" room after you get your seats (Seeger and performer CDs, Emma's Revolution t-shirts, information on justice groups, etc.)

TICKETS. If you have bought paper tickets, bring them with you. If you bought tickets online on this site, you are on the "will call" list: just give the first name of the person who bought the tickets. You do NOT need to bring any confirmation with you.

SONGBOOKS. If you already purchased Seeger songbooks to use during the concert, this is noted on the will call list. If not you can buy or borrow copies to use when you arrive.

Come help us celebrate the life and work of Pete Seeger on the occasion of the centennial of his birth!

Songleader/performers. This concert will feature Annie Patterson & Peter Blood (the creators of the songbooks Rise Up Singing and Rise Again) along with Emma's Revolution (Pat Humphries & Sandy O) Peter Siegel (of Gaslight Tinkers) and Sally Rogers - all of whom worked closely with Pete during his lifetime.

Singing together. We will be singing out of If I Had a Hammer, a new collection of songs that Pete wrote or was great at performing and leading. We have created this songbook especially to honor the 100th anniversary of Pete Seeger's birth. Copies will be available to borrow or buy at the concert. Or you can pre-order copies now and pick them up when you arrive.

Tickets: We urge you to buy tickets now as we expect this concert to sell out. If you do so, give your name at the "will call" list when you arrive. Tickets will also be available (space-permitting) for a suggested donation of $20 at the door ("Be generous! Be affordable!").  No one turned away for lack of funds.

Solidarity. This concert will celebrate the many groups in Southeast Vermont working for the things Pete and Toshi believed in and worked for. Groups doing social justice work are welcome to table during the intermission - contact George Carvill for questions about this.
