Pete's 100th - Hanover NH

ADVANCE TICKET SALES ARE CLOSED, but there are still plenty of tickets available for purchase at the door. Doors will open at 6:15.

Come help us celebrate the life and work of Pete Seeger! Pete was born on May 3rd, 1919. We will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of his birth on Friday, May 3rd in Hanover!

***NOTE FOR TICKET PURCHASES: Unfortunately, our website is not giving email receipts at this time. Even though you will not receive an email confirmation you should be given a 4 digit number confirmation. Once you purchase a ticket your name and the # of tickets & songbooks you have ordered will be put on the "will call" list at the concert. If you need an email receipt or have questions about your ticket order, please email us rasongbook@gmail.com. We apologize for this inconvenience!

Songleader/performers. This concert will feature Annie Patterson & Peter Blood (the creators of the songbooks Rise Up Singing and Rise Again) along with three other beloved folksinger/activists Charlie King and Magpie (Greg Artzner & Terri Leonino) - all of whom worked closely with Pete during his life.

Singing together. We will be singing out of If I Had a Hammer, a new collection of songs that Pete wrote or was great at performing and leading. We have created this songbook especially to honor the 100th anniversary of Pete Seeger's birth. Copies will be available to borrow or buy at the concert - or you can pre-order copies now to pick up when you arrive.

Tickets. You can buy advance tickets now on this site: give your name at the "will call" list at the door. Tickets also will be available at the door for a suggested donation of $20. ("Be generous! Be affordable!")  No one turned away for lack of funds. Patron tickets include a copy of If I Had a Hammer signed by all the artists at this concert.

Solidarity. This concert is a benefit for United Valley Interfaith Project to support its important work on economic justice, immigration support, and aging with dignity. The concert will also celebrate the many groups in the region working for the things Pete and Toshi believed in and worked for, including racial justice and work for a sustainable planet.
