Pete's 100th - Middlebury

Advance sales are now closed for this concert. There are still a good number of tickets available at the door. Doors open at 6:15.

If you bought tickets online on this site, you are on the "will call" list: just give the first name of the person who bought the tickets. You do not need to bring any confirmation with you.

If you already purchased Seeger songbooks to use during the concert, this is noted on the will call list. If not you can buy or borrow copies to use when you arrive.

Come help us celebrate the life and work of Pete Seeger!

Songleader/performers. This concert will feature Annie Patterson & Peter Blood (the creators of the songbooks Rise Up Singing and Rise Again) along with Charlie King and The RIX (Rik Palieri & Rick Nestler), all of whom worked closely with Pete during his life.

Singing together. We will be singing out of If I Had a Hammer, a new collection of songs that Pete wrote or was great at performing and leading. We have created this songbook especially to honor the 100th anniversary of Pete Seeger's birth. Copies will be available to borrow or buy at the concert - or you can pre-order copies now to pick up when you arrive.

Tickets. You can buy tickets now on this page and pick them up by giving your name at the "will call list" at the door. Patron tickets include a copy of If I Had a Hammer signed by the artists leading the event. Tickets will also be available at the door (space-permitting) for a suggested donation of $20 ("Be generous! Be affordable!")  No one turned away for lack of funds.

Solidarity. This concert is a benefit for Open Door Clinic (opendoormidd.org). 60% of Open Door's clientele is the migrant worker community in rural Addison County.  This is an important year to stand up in support and solidarity with guest workers and new Americans from Central and South America.  Visit their table at the concert and talk to staff about their important work. This concert will also celebrate the many groups in Northwest Vermont working for the things Pete and Toshi believed in and worked for.
